FDA Recalls, Market Withdrawals, & Safety Alerts You Might Want To Know About

I access FDA recalls every week or two. Below are 2025 recalls only.

The FDA currently lists over 900 recalls, many for Listeria or Salmonella. I don’t use the products listed and have never found a product I use recalled but the list is so vast and the products so common you may want to check it out periodically here. The Fentanyl recall is particularly interesting since the patches may be stuck together causing an overdose. Other recalls include medical devices but most are food or contamination recalls for Salmonella and Listeria. Pumpkin juice containing Botulism, Celery with Listeria Monocytogenes, a sinus cleanser with contamination of the product with Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus), Alfalfa Sprouts contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, Tahini Sesame Paste contaminated with Salmonella, Zaarah Herbals contaminated with elevated levels of lead, Kitten mix pet food potentially contaminated with Salmonella, Cheddar style cheeses potentially contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes and products like chocolate bars with stones in them, a lot of products contaminated with milk, peanut and other products some of us are allergic to. The sheer number of recalls fascinates me.
