QR codes are used all over Substack and the world. If I want to sign in to my eBay account I have to sign in using Facebook which signs me into Facebook. When I sign out of eBay they leave me signed in to Facebook.
If I want to sign in to Facebook, among the choices, I chose What’sApp and have to get a 6-digit code after I put in my log in and 60-digit password. I still need a 6-digit code sent to my phone. And I don’t like downloading software on my phone. Now I have What’sApp for signing into one web site.
I don’t even sign out of anything anymore except email. Why bother?
But QR codes? REALLY?
You’ve chosen to begin using QR codes on Substack.
That’s akin to digging your own grave.
The QR code is one step in the path to slavery.
Oh, haha! I just clicked your link and was taken to the Financial Rebellion show! Awesome!
Catherine Austin Fitts has a segment on Financial Rebellion on why QR codes are dangerous to use. It’s currently on her site, Solari.com. I’m with you and do not use them, either. I was unaware of the extent to how they can be used maliciously, though until recently. Thank you for spreading awareness, too.
